Processing Facility

Our processing facility is ideally located in the Zanzibar Export Processing Zone, just 3km from the seaport. We source our cashew nuts from the Mtwara region in South Tanzania, this is the largest cashew producing region in the country. The raw cashew nuts produced in the region are of the highest quality. We work directly with smallholder farmers and women's groups. We help them participate in the value addition by providing small machines for them to perform shelling, we then pay them higher prices. Purchasing is done on a weekly basis during the harvest season; October to February.

Our office in Canada, is located in Mississauga, Ontario, providing us easy access to the North American market. Our cashew nuts will be shipped from Zanzibar to our storage facility in Mississauga and delivered directly to North American customers. Our close proximity to the Zanzibar Port will allow us to conveniently deliver shipments to our customers anywhere else in the world.

YYTZ follows an integrated Internal Control System and works according to international quality systems like HACCP and ISO 22000. We are able to follow products from the farms to customers. Our factory is equipped with state of the art cashew processing machines and have qualified working staff which makes the quality of the products well-acknowledged. Due to continuous efforts in training personnel, optimizing working systems and following key international standards, YYTZ is confident of establishing itself as a well-known and prominent player in the cashew world markets.
